San Juan Puerto Rico Fishing Charter
The Grand Illusion is available for different tournaments around the island. Our home port is moved to any side of the island for multiple days of fishing in Puerto Rico.
Our boats are docked at San Juan Bay Marina only minutes from most hotels in the San Juan area. The deep sea fishing starts only one mile from the north coast. Puerto Rico's unique geographical characteristics allow us to start deep sea fishing only 30 minutes after departure. This is why you may fish in the morning and play golf in the afternoon!
We are licensed by both the USCG and the PR Public Service Commission. Our personnel consists of fully trained and licensed professionals. The Grand Illusion Charters is endorsed by the Puerto Rican Tourism Company.
Fish aboard our completely furnished TOPAZ 32. State of the art electronics, Rupp outriggers and Lee fighting chair are just a part of this first class fishing machine. You also have your choice of custom rods from 12 lb. to 130 lb. test.
With the help of the Grand Illusion crew you will be prepared for a half or full day of adventure in Puerto Rico. Whether you're fishing for Dolphin fish, Wahoo, Sailfish, Tuna, White Marlin or the majestic Blue Marlin, be ready for the most exciting experience of your vacation in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
About the Captain -
Captain Miguel Saldaņa has been fishing most of his life. He grew up in a fisherman village in his hometown of Dorado. Please allow Captain Mike and his staff, to entertain you and your guests with exciting fishing. We have over twenty years on the water experience and we will make every effort to provide a safe and enjoyable trip. Let us know if you require special accommodations so we can provide the services you need. Ours main concern has been for our customers to have the greatest time aboard The Grand Illusion in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The best recognition has been for the excellent quality service and professionalism on every fishing trip. You may let us do everything for you or, you can take a more active part. We encourage our guests to do the latter. It is your Puerto Rico fishing trip and you can do as much as you like.
